In 2018, at Rubycat, we took a significant step by obtaining our first security visa - CSPN (First Level Security Certificate), issued by ANSSI (National Agency for Information Systems Security), for our PROVE IT solution. This recognition had confirmed the reliability of our IT bastion solution and the commitment of the Rubycat teams.
Today, we are taking another essential step by renewing the CSPN security visa for PROVE IT. This consolidates our positioning as a trusted provider for our solution for identification, authentication, and access control to the information system, for both our customers in France and abroad.
ANSSI certification : a mark of trust for Rubycat customers
The security visa - CSPN awarded by ANSSI represents far more than a simple formal validation. It constitutes official recognition of the reliability, robustness, and quality of our IT bastion solution.
Certification process and audit
This certificate involves a meticulous evaluation process that assesses security features, resistance to attacks, and the ability to protect sensitive information within companies' information systems. The evaluation center (CESTI), an independent organization that conducted this analysis of PROVE IT, is the company ACCEIS. In 2019, the company Amossys (Almond) had carried out the evaluation.
The steps completed: identification of the product and evaluation environment, analysis of the solution's compliance and robustness, and study of vulnerabilities. The certificate and certification report are available on the ANSSI website in the "Identification, authentication and access control" category.
PROVE IT, a reliable and credible solution !
The credibility of PROVE IT rests on the combination of certification delivered by ANSSI, the experience and expertise of Rubycat teams since 2014 (exclusively based in Brittany - Rennes), permanent product evolution, and updates. This complex equation makes PROVE IT a reliable solution for managing privileged access. In fact, our customers speak to it best!
PROVE IT : THE robust privileged access management solution in France
What is an IT bastion?
Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, of which PROVE IT is a part, have the essential objective of guaranteeing the security of privileged access within an information system. The IT bastion, a central element of these solutions, plays a critical role in administering, controlling, tracing, and meticulously recording actions taken by privileged accounts and users, whether internal or external.
A 2020 Forrester study revealed that nearly 80% of security breaches exploited privileged accounts, highlighting their particular vulnerability to attacks. Thus, the PAM Bastion is a key solution for significantly reducing the risk of cyberattacks and compromises within organizations.
PROVE IT's features
In two words : control and trace !
To summarize the many features of Rubycat's PAM solution:
- Authorize and control access for third parties and privileged users: access limited to only the resources used, notifications of connections to your resources, real-time visualization of actions performed,
- Strengthen the security of privileged accounts, thanks to the secondary credential vault which notably allows non-disclosure of your sensitive equipment credentials, as well as privilege reduction for named accounts,
- Improve the proactivity of information system administrators, their responsiveness in case of incident, and compliance with standards and regulations (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001, HDS…).
"A recognition and the trust of our customers" by Cathy Lesage - CEO Rubycat
The security visa – CSPN comes to highlight the choices and developments made by Rubycat: offering a reliable solution with a responsive and effective support team.
"Obtaining the ANSSI security visa CSPN again is a major recognition for Rubycat and our teams, of our commitment to securing information systems. It is a real source of pride!
This will strengthen the confidence of our customers and prospects in our ability to innovate and offer reliable and robust privileged access management solutions.
This certification fits perfectly with the current context in France. As part of the France Relance plan, certified French solutions are favored by the State in the allocation of funding, and this is good news not only for French gems offering adapted solutions, but especially for us with this new certification that attests to the robustness of our bastion," says Cathy Lesage with satisfaction.
