How SHV Energy improved the traceability of its privileged accounts ?

Success story

As part of our annual internal cybersecurity audits, we needed to strengthen the traceability of privileged accounts. We wanted to select a solution certified by ANSSI and as non-invasive as possible. Implementing a bastion was therefore the simplest solution to deploy.

Sensitive access to the information system :

Three different types of actors are likely to connect to our information system using privileged accounts : our external provider handling level 1 support from the North, our managed services provider, and our internal administrators based at our "La Défense" site.

We lacked visibility into the actions being carried out, knowing that coordinating the various stakeholders is complex to manage in an international context like ours. It was therefore difficult to know when and by whom a connection had been made. Implementing a bastion allowed us to centralise this information, access it easily, and also receive real-time alerts on actions we consider "sensitive".

Why we chose PROVE IT by Rubycat :

From the very first presentation, we assessed that PROVE IT met our needs and appeared genuinely straightforward to administer and use.

This was confirmed when we tested it in our own environment. At a glance, we can now monitor all administration actions performed on our information system through a solution that is completely transparent for end users, while being very easy to manage on a day-to-day basis. We are entirely satisfied.
