How Limagrain improved its incident response time thanks to PROVE IT ?

Could you introduce yourself and tell us more about Limagrain ?

I am Hervé Lautard, Infrastructure and Operations Director at Limagrain. We are an agricultural cooperative owned by French farmers, and an international seed group.

Focused on plant genetic progress, we select, produce and market field crop seeds and vegetable seeds, and have built unique agri-food value chains.

From the territory of our parent company in France, we have become the world's 4th largest seed company and have expanded our operations across 57 countries, with a single purpose: cooperating for the progress of agriculture everywhere, for everyone.

What is the context of Limagrain's information system ?

Given the diversity of our business, we use ERPs and business application satellites hosted across several data centres. The need to increase our service levels and incident response capabilities led us to review the security of our partners' access to our information system.

Was PROVE IT therefore the ideal solution for you ?

This access management solution meets the three criteria we had set ourselves:

• Technical requirements : PROVE IT's features make it possible to centralise all external provider access, secure their connections, and easily audit an intervention by reviewing its video recording.
• Ease of implementation : We wanted a solution that would not require a dedicated, specialist team for its use and deployment. Our Production team quickly and easily took ownership of PROVE IT's administration.
• Budget constraints : We could not consider costly and complex solutions to implement within an organisation like ours.

How did you hear about this solution ?

As a member of the CRIP, I came across communications from Rubycat, a French publisher of PAM/bastion solutions certified by ANSSI. Following an initial call and a product demonstration, we quickly moved forward with a POC (Proof of Concept).

Would you recommend PROVE IT by Rubycat ?

Yes, most certainly.

In fact, we will be continuing to integrate the solution into our processes and are looking forward to the upcoming features currently in development. In a second phase, we also intend to centralise all internal access through the PROVE IT portal.
