A need for control and traceability of third-party actions on the IS
Located in the Toulouse metropolitan area, Colomiers is the 2nd largest municipality in Haute-Garonne with over 41,000 residents. A human-scale local authority, the city nonetheless operates a multi-site IT infrastructure and works with numerous third-party providers to maintain and evolve its various information systems. An organisation representative of many local authorities, facing strong time, budget and regulatory compliance constraints.
The City of Colomiers therefore needed to meet concrete objectives:
- Managing sensitive access for over a hundred third-party providers and remote maintenance operators, sometimes required to intervene outside office hours (weekends, public holidays…), particularly for publicly accessible facilities such as the aquatic centre.
- Obtaining full control and traceability of all actions performed on the information systems.
