Could you briefly introduce yourself and your company?

I am Pierre-Henri Grolleau, IT Director at the CETIH RENOV group. The CETIH RENOV group comprises three brands:

  • NEOVIVO, for home treatment solutions,
  • KOOV, for residential energy renovation,
  • and Kooble, our e-commerce division.

We have 230 employees across the Grand Ouest region (from Rouen to Périgueux). CETIH RENOV is primarily a remote advisor platform combined with a team of technicians operating at clients' homes, but also a web platform supporting residential energy renovation for our KOOV brand.

 

Could you give us some context about CETIH RENOV's IT environment?

Given the nature of our business, we work with numerous external providers — covering telephony platforms, ERP, data, infrastructure and web applications. Many external administrators need to connect to our information system, at any time of day.

To meet GDPR requirements, we had been forced to filter these access points and open connections on demand. Implementing this rule was tedious in practice, and also challenging from a human resources perspective. We were therefore aware that this solution was neither entirely satisfactory nor sustainable in the long term.

 

Was PROVE IT therefore the ideal solution for you?

To be honest, when PROVE IT was first presented to me, I was not convinced it would address my needs, and I feared it would be too complex and too expensive for a structure like ours. I was very wrong, and I know that now!

 

What changed your mind?

We had the opportunity to test the solution, and hands-on experience dispelled my doubts.

What mattered most to us was that our providers gained greater freedom in how they carry out their interventions, while we simultaneously gained greater traceability over those same interventions.

Furthermore, the ability to replay recorded operations improved both our security posture and our autonomy when troubleshooting our services.

Ultimately, it was the practical value of the various features that won us over. At the same time, Rubycat took our constraints into account, particularly our budget, and put together an offer tailored to SMEs, providing PROVE IT as an annual subscription with the flexibility to increase the number of licensed sessions at any time. Financially, this was far more attractive and scalable for us.

 

Would you recommend PROVE IT by Rubycat?

Yes, without a doubt, for all the reasons I have just mentioned, but also for the ease of implementation and the quality of the relationship with Rubycat.

All installation and setup procedures are extremely well documented with step-by-step guidance. Everything went very smoothly. Rubycat also provided me with straightforward training on the administration interface.

The end result is a stable solution, I have never once needed to contact after-sales support.

 

If you had one thing to add to convince other SME leaders to choose PROVE IT?

I would remind them that they may trust their service providers as companies, but that the individual intentions of the people involved are not always good — and that it is essential to protect against data theft or malicious attacks. With PROVE IT, you have the assurance of retaining a complete record of everything that happens on your information system.
